The Music Institute
of Chicago provides music instruction, education
programs, performances and community enrichment. Instuction
comprises a renowned faculty, 6 campuses and an
average enrollment of over 3,500 students. Performances are given at its
spectacular venue, Nichols Concert Hall, in Evanston IL.
Revenue growth needs:
Attract new music instruction students (in most cases through
their parents)
Showcase Nichols Concert Hall to attract larger and increasingly
diverse audiences
Encapsulate MIC's strengths to increase donor contributions and
corporate sponsorships

Building Interdisciplinary Careers in Women's Health
provides guidance and resources to transition from completing clinical or postdoctoral work into building a successful independent, interdisciplinary scientific career focusing on women's health research.
It is supported by Grant no. K12 HD055884 from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The span of research topics addressed by BIRCWH scholars--both women and men--is broad and deep.
The main strength of the program is aligning support resources, close contact with the research community and current and future trends and needs with strengths and intentions
of its scholars. |
