familiar name? Following our work with the company, AHSC was acquired by Baxter,
spun off, and then acquired by Cardinal Health. It was a distributor of products
and services to hospitals, clinics, physician offices and health systems. Its catalog comprised over 50,000 products marketed to over 10,000 customers. AHSC pioneered assisting hospitals to control their inventory levels and provide optimised replenishment, saving these providers thousands of dollars a year. |

Medical Center Recent
research has focused on advances in quality of care and
improvement in cardiovascular treatment outcomes. Utilizing an
extensive database of cardiac patients, both locally and
nationally, a number of risk models for interventional
cardiology and cardiac surgery procedures have been developed.
The primary purpose of these risk models is to provide its
physicians and surgeons with an optimal basis for therapeutic
decision making. |

mid-Atlantic region launched an initiative to reduce
disenrollment (churn) amongst its Medicare supplemental policy
holders. The goal was to predict which customers would disenroll before such a phone call came to customer service. The predictive model avoided thousands of dollars in lost revenue. |

according to a recent study by the Institute of Medicine. We undertook a partnering program with researchers at the University of Mississippi Medical Center to determine the factors contributing to this disturbing statistic. The work resulted in a published paper presented in conference. |
