We wrote the
business plan for this e-commerce startup. The concept was to
sell online unique and locally-signatured items not available
through chain stores and the like.
We met with other non-competing e-commerce companies such as
u-bid. Through these meetings a demand and repurchase model for
the retail web site was developed and incorporated into the
financial projections.
A complete financial package, including income statement,
balanced sheet and cash flow, was developed, followed by
meetings with potential investors.
The plan was completed at the just as the dot-com bubble burst.
The site was put on hold and may be resurrected, given the
economic environment. |
